About Leaf & Ladle

Leaf & Ladle began with a simple question: how do you recreate the feeling of your grandmother’s cooking when home is far away?

We are building a nostalgia food brand around Kerala family recipes, the cooks who kept them alive, and the rituals that make a meal memorable—from the sound of a ladle meeting a steel vessel to lunch served on a banana leaf.

Starting close to home

Our first chapter is a focused cloud kitchen serving Kannur and Kozhikode. We prepare rotating comfort dishes in thoughtful batches, then bring the same spirit to weekend pop-ups filled with familiar food and table details.

More than delivery

Our recipe boxes pair measured ingredients with handwritten-style instructions so families can cook together. Steel tumblers, banana-leaf placemats, and future pantry staples carry the story from the kitchen to the table.

Family recipes belong to families

We invite people to share the dishes that define home for them. Real ammachis guide the cooking, test community recipes, and help preserve the small techniques that rarely make it into formal cookbooks.
